It’s been awhile since I’ve been on this blog. Two national writing conferences plus a trip to Minnesota have kept me hopping. My second book, “My Noble Knight” is enjoying great success and I am so pleased with the comments I’m getting. I hope to keep on writing! The next thing coming up will be a novella “Capture Her Heart” for Samhain Publishing in January, 2008.
It’s been a crazy summer weather-wise. In South Texas, we had 27 inches of rain in July, which is usually a dry month, and that amount is more that the total for all of 2006. Half the country seems to be flooded while the other half is baking in heat.Â
To that effect, I have a wonderful, EASY appetizer that will go well at any pool party:
8 oz sour cream (can be fat free)
8 oz light cream cheese
16 oz cocktail shrimp, drained
1 package of Hidden Valley Ranch dry dressing
Mix everything together and refrigerate for two hours for flavors to blend. Serve with your favorite crackers.

Hope you all enjoy and try to stay cool. (in more ways than one!)
